Loyal fans of the pop star are demanding that a individual who jumped a barrier and touched the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A viral clip depicts the Australian man shoving aside camera operators and lunging at Grande while the actors made its way down a yellow carpet accompanied by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being detained", though court documents revealed that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was charged.

Record of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account includes recordings of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the area last December.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is clearly a legal violation," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen posted of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user wrote.

Followers Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Well-being

Many fans accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of experiencing PTSD after a devastating incident at the end of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said a further comment on Instagram.

A number of attendees also questioned security officers at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while others demanded social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Event Details

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande appeared shocked when she was touched by the man. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.

The musical itself is a adaptation of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the character Glinda Glinda, was adorned in a rosé sequin dress at the premiere while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of 2024 in the UK, and scored a dozen award recognitions, earning a pair for excellent wardrobe and production design.
