The winger Had England’s best chance in the opening period, his effort well saved by the Albanian keeper. As a teammate hanging back, he had to offer an outlet on the right yet his deliveries from wide areas were inconsistent. Substituted for the final quarter-hour. 6

The captain The decisive figure with his 77th and 78th strikes for his country. The opener a classic close-range tap-in while the second a superb headed goal after peeling away away from the opposition. Now 32, his form is unwavering and England stand a real opportunity next summer when he's in the team. 8

The attacker Had difficulty to influence play on the left flank. Was presented with a good opening after being played in by the midfielder however Strakosha denied him. His replacement produced a bigger effect when substituted. Five
