The assault caused the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
