Vince Zampella, Has Passed Away in a California Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in the state of California at the age of 55.
The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.
The renowned industry figure passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in LA on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This is an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's family, his family, and everyone impacted by his work," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
